<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake device for an on-vehicle engine, capable of accurately suppressing generation of noise without causing deterioration of engine performance. SOLUTION: An intake passage 11 of the intake device is composed of a resin-made pipe and is provided in its internal with a throttle valve 13 and a port-area variable mechanism 20. A downstream side of the intake passage 11 from the throttle valve 13 is partitioned into two passages by a partition plate 21, and a port-area variable valve 22 is arranged in one of the two passages. A straightening vane 25 is provided between the throttle valve 13 and the partition plate 21. The straightening vane 25 is formed, so as to have the shortest straightening length L2 in the axis of the intake passage 11 and straightening lengths L3 gradually lengthening, as it approaches an opening and closing end of the throttle valve 13.</p> |
