PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide mechanical driving structure of an image carrier capable of making resonance frequency high while keeping the static efffect of a fly- wheel and reducing vibration transmitted to the image carrier. SOLUTION: As for this driving structure of the image carrier provided with a photoreceptor driving shaft 4 supporting a photoreceptor drum 2 being the image carrier in a rotating direction, a photoreceptor flange 9 coupling a photoreceptor end with the driving shaft 4, a photoreceptor driving element 3 directly coupled with the driving shaft 4 and driving the driving shaft 4, the fly-wheel 1 being the inertial body of the driving shaft 4, a transmitting element 5 transmitting motive power to the driving element 3 and a driving source 6; the driving element 3 is positioned on the outermost side of the driving shaft 4, so that the torsion resonance frequency of a photoreceptor and the fly-wheel is easily improved, and the vibration amplification area in terms of the resonance frequency is removed from a frequency area where jitter easily gets conspicuous, and image quality is improved. |
