PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal system capable of improving portability without imposing any unnatural attitude or generating deterioration in convenience at the time of using the portable terminal. SOLUTION: A master terminal 2 shaped like a watch is provided with wrist bands 21 and 21 at the opposite edge parts. On the other hand, a slave terminal 3 is provided with an ear hanging part 31 shaped so as to be suitable for a user to mount it on his ear, and incorporated with a speaker functioning as an earphone, and one edge part of a flexible arm 35 is pivotally supported so as to be turnably adjustable, and a microphone 36 is mounted on the other edge part of the flexible arm 35. The master terminal 2 is connected to a network for communicating with a radio base station outside this system so as to be communicatable with both the other portable terminal and the slave terminal 3 inside this system, and the salve terminal 3 is allowed to communicate with the master terminal 2. Therefore, it is possible for the user to communicate in a comfortable attitude by having a conversation by mounting the slave terminal 3 on his ear.
