PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To report the condition of a transporting vehicle in real time with a large amount of information. SOLUTION: A transmitting device 2 provided on the transporting vehicle is connected to a receiving device 16 via the Internet 14. The transmitting device 2 converts image signals from cameras 4a to 4c into a compressed image signal using an image compressor 8. A mobile communications device 10 transmits the compressed image signal via the Internet 14. The compressed image signal transmitted via the Internet 14 is re-converted by the receiving device 16 into the image signals. An image based on the image signals restored is displayed on the monitor 22 of a personal computer 20.
