PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a module type measuring instrument capable of performing cooperative operation without any trouble even though measurement modules different in the specification of a part related with cooperation are included by only mounting the measurement modules. SOLUTION: The module type measuring instrument constituted so as to mount the measurement modules having driver programs for module control to plural slots to be controlled by a common controller drives another module of the same kind based on the newest driver program among the plural modules of the same kind to be mounted.
