PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid repelling characteristic evaluation method of the inner wall of a tiny hole which enables judging of liquid repelling characteristic by comparing differences between a liquid repelling treated part and a non-treated part in the degree of a rise in the center part of a soft film set at an open end thereof as generated due to the difference in the quantity of a solution that infiltrates into the tiny hole as caused by capillary phenomenon especially as occurring when the liquid repelling treated part having the tiny hole is immersed into the solution concerning the method for evaluating the liquid repelling characteristic of the inner wall of the tiny hole of the part. SOLUTION: In the method for evaluating the liquid repelling characteristic of the liquid repelling treated part at least with a liquid repelling treatment applied at least inside the tiny hole, the degree of a rise in the central part of a soft film as obtained when the film is formed at one open end of the tiny hole and the other open end thereof is made to contact a known solution or immersed thereinto is measured and the results are compared with the degree of a rise in the center part of the film previously determined as for the liquid repelling treated part and the non- treated part thereby judging the liquid repelling characteristic.
