PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple dwelling house building which is structurally rational and capable of coping with a highly free plan. SOLUTION: In this multistory or ultra-multistory multiple dwelling house, a high-rigidity outer peripheral rigid frame structure 1 made of reinforced concrete is formed with outer peripheral columns 9 and outer peripheral beams 10 at the outer peripheral section of the building, and high-rigidity core walls 2 formed with a multi-story shear wall made of reinforced concrete are provided so as to surround the central section of the building. The core walls 2 are split into a plurality of parts in the peripheral direction, and boundary beams 12 functioning as vibration control dampers are suspended between split individual core walls 2.
