A lock for a sliding door with a pivoting pull tab with gripping flange and mounted to the face plate

A lock having a face plate 16 for mounting to an edge of a door 12, and a locking bolt 22 with an end adapted to extend from the face plate 16. A pivoting pull tab 36 is mounted to the face plate 16 at one end with an opening 39 to allow the bolt 22 to pass through. The distal end of the pull tab has a gripping flange 40 and the face plate 16 includes a recess 42 to allow for fingers to hold the gripping flange 40 and pivot the pull tab 36 in order to pull the door 12 toward a closed position.
