PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make efficiently learnable a method for operating an electronic instrument. SOLUTION: This is a device which displays the contents of operation given to an electronic appliance 20 and is equipped with a reception part 30 which communicates with the electronic appliance 20 to receive the contents of the operation given to the electronic appliance 20 and a display part 40 which displays information explaining the contents of the action of the electronic appliance 20 expected to be brought about when the contents of the operation are received by the reception part 30.
