PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide portable electronic equipment in which a flexible circuit board housed in a hinge unit can be fixed by a simple method and into which no water enters through the hinge unit. SOLUTION: In this portable electronic equipment, a first enclosure 20 on which control buttons 12 are arranged and a second enclosure 40 provided with a displaying section 16 are openably/closably connected to each other through the hinge unit 80, and the internal substrates 62 and 63 of the enclosures 20 and 40 are electrically connected to each other through the flexible circuit board 60 passed through cylindrical covers 25 and 45 formed in the hinge unit 80. In the first enclosure 20 and/or second enclosure 40, sandwiching members 70 and 72 which sandwich the circuit board 60 are provided.
