CERAMIC HEATER GLOW PLUG AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect surely a positive lead wire 68 of a ceramic heater 6 to electrode take-out metal fitting 12 in a simple structure. SOLUTION: The ceramic heater 6 is secured in one end of a metal outer casing 8, the other end face 6b is placed in the meal outer casing 8. A heating element 64 is held in an insulating ceramic 62. A tip 68a of the positive lead wire 68 connected to the heating element 64 is exposed to the end 6b of the heater 6. A positive connection member 14 is held down to a tip 12a of the electrode take-out metal fitting 12. The connection member 14 and the tip 68a of the lead wire 68 are securely brazed.
