PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sight-seeing related information providing system capable of efficiently providing a tourist with sight-seeing information and fresh timely information and a sight-seeing support system capable of reliably supporting the tourist. SOLUTION: This system consists of a PDA 10 carried by a tourist, a PHS terminal 20 connected to the PDA 10, a portable telephone terminal 30 carried similarly by the tourist a PHS base station 40, the host computer 50 of a center (center for performing sight-seeing support) connected to the base station 40 through a PHS network, the support server 60 of the center, connected similarly to the base station 40 through the PHS network, a support client 70 connected to the server 60 through a LAN and a center telephone terminal 80 communicable with the telephone terminal 30 through a public line, and the system provides the tourist with sight-seeing information, timely information, map information and position information and supports sight-seeing by the center. |
