PURPOSE: Provided is an anti-calcification valve of pork heart to solve side-effects caused from chemical cross-linkage agent and to improve mechanical property and durability by irradiating UV to the aorta valve of the heart with addition of calcitonin as an anti-calcification agent. CONSTITUTION: The valve of pork heart is prepared by irradiating UV ray having 254nm, or adding calcitonin in water (50 I.U./ml) and irradiating UV light to cross-link the aorta valve of the port heart with 0.0625% glutaraldehyde(GA). The UV ray irradiation is performed in a transparent polymethylmetacrylate(PMMA) box added with the valve of the heart within an UV chamber under a condition of 4 deg.C and exposure to 10W UV lamp for desired time period. The heart valve is preferably stored in 0.9% wt/vol NaCl solution containing antibiotic agent at 4deg.C before the UV irradiation and addition of calcitonin.
