PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give a warning before attaining an upper limited value in the case of controlling a counter for copying. SOLUTION: When this copying machine control device 12 receives information that paper is ejected from a copying machine main body 1, it adds '1' to the copy counter, and successively compares a counter value with the upper limited value in use, a 2nd warning threshold and a 1st warning threshold. When the counter value is larger than the upper limited value, the copying enable signal of the copying machine 1 is made to fall, and when the counter value is larger than the 2nd or the 1st warning threshold, the copying machine 1 is informed of that effect. The copying machine informed of it displays the warning corresponding to the information and is urged to change a copying mode to the copying mode in which a usage charge is saved. |
