PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the strength and rigidity of a battery pack from lowering in the case of a thin-type battery pack. SOLUTION: A lower case 5 made of plastics and an upper case 6 for closing its upper surface are combined together in a lid-fitting manner to form a case body 4. A vertical groove 15 is continuously provided in each of three side walls 8 of the lower case 5. A U-shaped metal frame 16 is fitted into and engaged with the grooves 15. This metal frame 16 increases the entire strength of the battery pack 1. |
