PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a route guiding method for an on-vehicle navigation device capable of omitting a load for precisely setting a destination and allowing start of a vehicle immediately after boarding. SOLUTION: A district name extracting process, in which the name of an administrative section at a fixed distance or more from the vehicle is extracted from map data, and a display process, in which the district name button displaying the name of the extracted administrative section is displayed on a screen, are repeated, and when the district name button displayed on the screen is pressed, a guiding route is searched while a representative point of the administrative section of the name displayed on the district name button is set to a temporary destination. Guidance is provided so that the vehicle travels along the guiding route. |
