PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor having high sensitivity to near IR rays and excellent electric characteristics, hardly causing decrease in the sensitivity after repeated use, and having stable electrification potential and excellent wear resistance. SOLUTION: The photosensitive layer 4 formed on the conductive supporting body 1 of the electrophotographic photoreceptor contains an oxotitanyl phthalocyanine of a specified crystal type as a charge generating material 2 and contains a specified bezofuran-hydroazone compound as a charge transfer material 3. Further, the photosensitive layer 4 contains a specified amount of specified polycarbonate resin as a binder resin,α-tocopherol or 2,6-di-t-butyl-4- methyl-phenol as an antioxidant, and dimethylpolysiloxane as a leveling agent.
