PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-operate communication system in which impersonation to a normal user can be prevented. SOLUTION: A communication management unit receives telephone number information specified by a telephone line connected with a terminal and transmitted automatically therefrom. With reference to the received telephone number information and the telephone number information of a terminal previously granted connection with a network, the communication management unit authenticates the terminal. When a decision is made that the terminal is a normally registered terminal, it is granted connection with the network.
