PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve an understeer state without giving discomfort to a driver and unstabilizing vehicle behavior, when generating the understeer state in turning a vehicle. SOLUTION: The vehicle provided with a continuously variable transmission steplessly changing the transmission ratio is so constituted that, when generating the understeer state in turning a vehicle, the transmission ratio of the continuously variable transmission is controlled to reduce the car speed and resolve it with the car speed set to a target value.
