PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system, in which each communication equipment transmits an initial state to each other when a communication bus is disconnected, capable of preventing initial data generated at the time of its transition to an initial state during the normal transmission and reception of communication data from being erroneously read as a part of a signal. SOLUTION: This communication equipment is provided with a bus interface circuit 108 for normally storing a received signal in a memory 107, for judging that its transition to an initial state is generated at the time of receiving a reset signal indicating reset from a communication bus 109, for outputting the received signal to a transmission memory 106 and an input and output interface circuit 105 for normally reading the received signal from the memory 107, and for reading the received signal from the transmission memory 106 at the time of receiving the reset signal.
