PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water storage tank in which clean city water can be constantly and automatically stored without prohibiting utilization of city water at a normal time, and which can be immediately detached to be carried without prohibiting utilization of city water at the time of a disaster or the like. SOLUTION: This detachable water storage tank is disposed midway of a city water pipe connected to a faucet, and it comprises a water receiving hole connected to the city water pipe side by a flexible tube, and a water feed hole connected to the faucet side by a flexible tube. Single operation detachable valves are respectively disposed midway of both flexible tubes. When coupling of the single operation detachable valves are released, a female tube part of one single operation valve can be coupled with a male tube part of the other single operation valve.
