PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device which can be wired efficiently with a high density and can reduce the influences of a parasitic effect. SOLUTION: A semiconductor device 30 includes a transparent insulating substrate 31 having an optical waveguide 37 formed therein, a semiconductor thin film 32 bonded on the substrate 31, an integrated circuit 33 formed on the thin film 32, a light emitting element 34 connected to the wiring of the integrated circuit 33, and a light receiving element 36 for optically coupling with the light emitting element 34 via the waveguide 37. The semiconductor device transmits an optical signal by replacing a partial section of the wiring of the integrated circuit 33 by an optical waveguide 37. |
