PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for distributing contents by which method and system the contents of high distribution needs of recipient can be preferentially distributed at an early stage at low cost. SOLUTION: In the contents distributing system where a distributing server managing the distribution of contents and a first communication line to be used for distribution and a recipient terminal are connected by a second communication line, one the basis of a contents summary disclosed to the recipient terminal by the distributing server, contents desired to be distributed are selected by a recipient and the distribution request of the selected contents is inputted from the recipient terminal to the distributing server. In the distributing server, the number of distribution applicants is totaled for each of selected contents, the distribution schedule of the selected contents is determined in the order of benefits based on the distribution of the selected contents reaching the number of distribution applicants exceeding a fixed standard, and the selected contents are distributed to the recipient terminal according to the distribution schedule. |
