PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cathode-ray tube capable of miniaturizing without increasing a load to an operation circuit and without allowing it the deterioration of the quality of focus or distortion. SOLUTION: In a neck part 11 of the cathode-ray tube, an electrode terminal 2 for conducting voltage to be applied to an electrode gun 1 on the inside of the cathode-ray tube is formed on the side of the inside of the cathode-ray tube, and the electrode terminal 2 is radially formed on the side of the neck part 11. Since the cathode-ray tube can structurally be made shorter than the existing cathode-ray tube, the cathode-ray tube can be miniaturized without increasing the load to the operation circuit and without allowing it the deterioration of the quality of focus or distortion.
