PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image fixing device constituted so that the excessive rising of temperature at both ends on a fixing roller is restrained even in the case of consecutively processing paper whose width is smaller than heating width on the fixing roller by simple constitution. SOLUTION: In this image fixing device where a temperature uniformizing roller is disposed so that it can be in press-contact with the fixing roller and it can be released from the press-contact therewith, an angle formed by the shafts of the temperature uniformizing roller and the fixing roller is varied.
