PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a column line type steel slit dam maximally simplified in structure, increased in strength, and lowered in a manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: This steel column line type slit dam is constructed of a beam 8, which is extended in the river width direction between dam bodies 7 arranged in both riverbanks and connected to the dam bodies 7 at its both ends, and vertical members 13, in each of which the upper part is connected to the beam 8 while the lower part is connected to foundation part concrete 10 on the riverbed, and the vertical members 13 are installed in the desired river width direction at predetermined intervals so as to be arranged in the column line form.
