The carrier consists of a frame with a flat rectangular base and raised sides, and a series of brackets (19) or hooks from which plastic carrier bags (27) can be suspended by their handles (28). The outer vertical side of the trolley is fitted with shoulder straps so it can be carried on a person's back, while wheels at the bottom and handles at the top allow it to be pushed over flat surfaces. A variant of the design has flexible covering panels to protect the contents.
