PURPOSE: A heating furnace is provided to make using as a medium and small incinerator possible, to control air pollution by effectively using waste heat of the incinerator, and to obtain a heating furnace not needing large equipment. CONSTITUTION: A heating furnace is equipped with a primary opening(3) throwing articles to be disposed of and a secondary opening(15) communicating with the body(2) of a furnace. A heat passage(14) is formed between the primary and secondary opening. A heating drum(4), having a catching device(11) falling the article to be disposed of into the body of the heating furnace by driving the moment catching the articles, is installed in the heat passage. An engine withdrawing power from the heat produced from the body is installed to the body. Therefore, air pollution is effectively controlled and the running cost is reduced with effectively using the waste heat as power source.
