PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce wiring between a detecting means and a control means, in an image forming device. SOLUTION: The image forming device has a photoreceptor, an electrifying means for uniformly electrifying a surface of the photoreceptor, an exposure means for forming an electrostatic latent image by emitting light corresponding to image data onto the electrified photoreceptor, a developing means for developing the electrostatic latent image formed on the photoreceptor with toner, a transfer means for transferring the toner image formed on the photoreceptor to recording paper 11, and a fixing unit 8 for fixing the transferred toner image to the recording paper 11. The image forming device additionally has sensors 2 to 7, which detect timing of passage of the recording paper 11 and the presence or absence of a detachable/attachable process cartridge 9 including the electrifying means, developing means and fixing means. The image forming device also has a CPU that controls a printing operation based on signals detected by the sensors 2 to 7. The image forming device further has a control substrate 10 on which the sensors 2 to 7 and the CPU are mounted and which is disposed on an inner side of the device. |
