PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for supporting copyright processing, by which it is judged concerning a copyright in the case of utilizing a literary work whether utilization conditions are within the utilization limit of the copyright or not, a method for supporting copyright processing and a recording medium therefor. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a literary work utilization limit database 102a storing literary work utilization limit information concerning the utilization limits of respective literary works and a utilization condition input processing part 105 urging a user to input the utilization conditions of a literary work to be utilized. Thus, since a literary work availability judging processing part 106 is provided for judging whether the inputted utilization conditions are within the range of the utilization limit of the literary work or not on the basis of the utilization conditions inputted from the user and the literary work utilization limit information read out of the literary work utilization limit database 102a, it is judged whether or not that literary work can be utilized on the inputted utilization conditions.
