PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate point saving and management in a point management system and also to effectively utilize a fractional point in stored points. SOLUTION: This point management system for managing points on a network is provided with a managing server on the network and user terminals. The managing server is provided with a point managing means for updating the stored points that each user has, and a point processing means for calculating the numerical value of increased/decreased points used for update processing in the point managing means. The point processing means calculates the numerical value of the increased/decreased points, which changes the numerical value of the points that each user has on the basis of the request of the user or another user, and the point managing means updates the stored points of each user on the basis of the numerical value of the increased/decreased points calculated by the pint processing means. The user terminals can be connected to the managing server on the network, are connected to the managing server on the network by identification information specifying a user and exchange point information including point processing with the connected managing server. |
