PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a received signal can not be judged sufficiently due to nonlinearity of the output impedance when bi-directional transmission or multilevel transmission is performed using a driver circuit. SOLUTION: The driver circuit comprises a first transistor 1 having a first terminal connected with an output signal line 4, a second terminal connected with a first power supply line Vdd and a control terminal, a second transistor 2 having first and second terminals and a control terminal connected in parallel with the first transistor, and a circuit 3 for controlling the voltage being applied to the control terminal of the second transistor depending on the potential of the output signal line.
