PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifier especially high in sterilizing effect. SOLUTION: When an automatic operation switch 81, a high-power operation switch 83, or a low-power operation switch 85 is turned on, they are turned off by operating the turned-on switch 81, 83 or 85. As a result, a microprocessor 72 operates to stop the output of an H signal output from a second output terminal 722, turn off a seventh transistor 95, demagnetize a second relay coil 94 and turn off a second relay switch 56. Turning off the second relay switch 56 de-energizes a fan motor 58 to stop a discharge blower and the operation of the humidifier. The microprocessor 72 further operates to output a signal through a signal control output circuit 78 similarly to the case of the low-speed operation. Accordingly, energizing an electrode 10 is continued, for example, for 20 cycles, to sterilize water in a drain receiving water tank 6. |
