PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small size connector for memory card, in which insertion and pulling out of the memory card is easy. SOLUTION: The connector 20 comprises a connector body 30 that has a tapered guide groove 34, a slider 40 that has a groove crossing the sliding movement direction at right angles and constitutes an alternate mechanism by installing in the connector body 30 capable of sliding through a coil spring 53, and a locking claw 57 that is inserted in the groove of the slider 40 capable of sliding and engaged with the tapered guide groove 34 of the connector body 30 and that is capable of engaging with the locking recess 12 provided on the side face on one side of the memory card 11. When the memory card 11 is pushed in, the locking pawl 57 is engaged with the locking recess 12 of the memory card 11 in accordance with the sliding movement of the slider 40. Furthermore, when the memory card 11 is pushed out, the locking claw 57 is pulled out of the locking recess 12 of the memory card 11. |
