摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide power-line carrier communication equipment capable of easily allowing various transmitting speeds to coexist in a system constitution in which a common line is used by a plurality of terminals. SOLUTION: A node is provided with a primary modulating means, a mapping means, and a demodulating means. A communication frame to be transmitted and received between the respective nodes is provided with a header constituted of a common primary modulation system and mapping system, and a payload constituted of an individual primary modulation system and mapping system. In this case, the primary modulation system, mapping system, and data length of the payload of each communication frame are described in the header. Then, each node reads the primary modulation systems, mapping systems, and data length of the payloads described in the headers of all the communication frames transmitted to a power line, and performs frame synchronization based on the data length of the headers.
