PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily controllable image forming device realizing the improvement of the gradation of an image without raising resolution by using white toner. SOLUTION: After an electrostatic latent image carrier 1 is electrified by using an electrifier 2, it is irradiated with a laser beam or the like by a writing unit 3 so as to form an electrostatic latent image in dot units, and the white toner is supplied to develop a white toner image in the dot units by the unit W of a developing device 4. By controlling a transfer current or applied voltage in a transfer means 5c, the white toner is scattered and transferred so that plural kinds of toner may be dotted in a transfer area equivalent to one dot and also superposed on the dot transfer position of color toner to be transferred in a next stage. In and after the next stage, a color toner image is successively formed on an intermediate transfer body 9, and a color image on the transfer body 9 is transferred to transfer paper P by using a transfer means 5, so that the color image is formed. |
