PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a switching device easily and surely breaking a high voltage electric path, preventing a damage on parts from the shock caused by switch operation. SOLUTION: For the switch device, two sets of switch units of which, each of them is composed of a switch part 3 comprising a fixed electrode 1, a movable electrode 2, a movable shaft 5 extending from the movable electrode 2, and an operation system 9 generating driving force and transmitting the driving force to the movable shaft 5, are fixed so that fixed electrode 1 face each other in opposite direction. By the above, the impacts generated when movable electrodes 2 driven by the driving force transmitted from the operation system 9 collide with the fixed electrodes 1, are canceled each other, and a supporting member supporting the fixed electrodes 1 is prevented from damage, and the electric path is easily and surely broken by two switching parts 3.
