PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce deforming of an outer covering layer of a cable main body of a self-supporting cable, and to prevent an inside cable core from deteriorating in transmission property. SOLUTION: A cable main body 5, composed of a cable core 2 around which, a tubular inner covering layer 3 is applied, and one or plural pieces of tensile strength resistant bodies 4 built in a resin of an inner covering layer 3 so as to locate on a plane including a center axis of the inner covering layer, and a supporting wire 6 are made parallel with each other, and covered with an 8-shaped outer covering layer 7. A supporting wire part 8 composed of the supporting wire 6 and the outer covering layer 7 covering the supporting wire, and a cable main body part 10 composed of the cable main body 5 and the outer sheath layer 7 covering the cable main body, are jointed at the neck part 9 of the outer covering layer with intervals in longitudinal direction, the length of the cable main body part 10 is made longer than the length of the supporting wire part 8 in order to let the cable main body 10 have an allowance of length.
