PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user of an information terminal to securely reach desired information with ease by inputting 'words that the user hits on'. SOLUTION: A server 2 is equipped with a dictionary database 8 which contains words representing matters that questioners want to know. Database retrieving program software 12 is equipped with an input means 16 which enables a questioner to input an arbitrary word to a homepage on the web from an information terminal such as a portable telephone 14, a retrieving means 18 which determines which word in the dictionary database 8 the inputted arbitrary word matches or is similar to, a navigation means 20, and a display means 22. The navigation means 20 displays navigation sentences linked with the word retrieved by the retrieving means 18 hierarchically on the screen of the information terminal and selects question solution information finally according to navigation sentences selected by layers on the screen of the information terminal. The display means 22 displays the problem solution information on a picture 42 of the information terminal.
