PURPOSE: An auxiliary handle for a steering wheel is provided to prevent the decrease of the steering wheel strength and prevent a driver from being wounded by the auxiliary handle by moving an auxiliary handle shaft to a non-use position by the impact applied to a handle by supporting the auxiliary handle shaft with a spring. CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary handle for a steering wheel includes a bushing(1) mounted to a steering wheel(11) and formed with a spring case(2) at a side, a push rod(4) to be pressed in the bushing by a spring force of a spring(3) received in the spring case of the bushing, an auxiliary handle shaft(5) formed with at least two or more grooves(9a) to secure the push rod at a use position and a non-use position and moving vertically with respect to the bushing, and a handle(6) rotatably mounted at an upper part of the auxiliary handle shaft.
