TCU PROVIDING LONG-TIME STORAGE FOR LEARNING DATA AND METHOD FOR STORING LEARNING DATA

PURPOSE: A TCU(Transmission Control Unit) providing long-time storage for learning data and a method for storing learning data are provided to make the learning data last even if the power supplying to the TCU is interrupted. CONSTITUTION: The TCU includes a learning variable storage(110) temporary storing the learning variable data, a program(120) managing the learning variable data and controlling a transmission by using the learning variable data and a long term storage(130) copying and storing the data stored in the learning variable storage. The method comprises steps of storing the learning variable data using to a control of transmission in the learning variable storage until turning off an engine, duplicating and storing the data stored in the learning variable storage in the long term storage in case of turning off the engine, maintaining the TCU to an idle state until restarting the engine, and duplicating and storing the data stored in the long term storage in the learning variable storage in case of restarting the engine.
