A dental implant comprises a unitary member of permeable, porous TiNi alloy; the member has an endosseous body and a supporting head which is adapted to support a dental prosthesis; the unitary member is preferably substantially cylindrical and the endosseous body, in use, is seated in a bo ne socket at a dental site.
