PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce leakage from a flux passing through a gap between pole teeth of an armature, and to reduce a magnetic attractive force produced between the armature and a moving piece. SOLUTION: This linear motor comprises a 1st member and a 2nd member, the 1st member has at least a 1st polarity pole with 1st facing parts and a 2nd polarity pole with 2nd facing parts, the 2nd member is held between the 1st facing parts, and the 2nd member is held between the 2nd facing parts so as to move relatively. The 1st member comprises a core and windings and the 2nd member comprises one among a permanent magnet, a magnetic element, and a winding or combination of a plurality of these items. |
