PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bracing device prevented from the occurrence of lateral oscillation when closing a top-railed sliding door used as a partition. SOLUTION: The lower end of a door panel on the closing side of the top- railed sliding door is provided with a locking device 2 with a plunger energized by a spring to project downward. A floor face is mounted with a bracket 3 formed with a guide groove. The guide groove is formed with an inclined face on which the lower end of the plunger abuts, and a fitting recessed part continuous with the inclined face and having a width almost equal to the diameter of the plunger; and a space between both side walls surrounding the inclined face is narrowed toward the fitting recessed part.
