PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional floating body base isolation method and a floating body base isolation structure efficiently absorbing the vertical vibration from the ground and accurately returning to the original position after an earthquake. SOLUTION: The underground portion of the structure is stored in a liquid tank for heavy slurry or the like constructed in the ground and receives buoyancy by the heavy slurry. Air cushion chambers sealing the air with a liquid are provided at the base face section of the structure, and the structure receives an air cushion action. The upper section of the structure is supported by a combination of the base isolation devices installed on the ground around the structure to absorb horizontal force and vertical springs absorbing vertical force.
