摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid high-polymer type fuel cell allowing simplification of unit cell configuration and embodiment in a small-sized and low-cost construction. SOLUTION: The solid high-polymer type fuel cell is furnished with a gas diffusive electrode layer i in a hollow shape, a high-polymer solid electrolyte film layer on its periphery, and another gas diffusive electrode layer ii on the periphery of the electrolyte film layer, wherein the inside diameter of the electrode layer i is 0.5-10 mm, or porous insulating film layer are provided on the inside surface of the electrode layer i and/or the outside surface of the electrode layer ii. A plurality of such cells are connected in serier and/or parallel to form a module. The fuel cell is manufactured so that a carbonaceous tube is used as electrode layer i and the electrolyte film layer and electrode layer ii are formed on its periphery one over another, and using a hollow object of porous insulating film as the porous insulating film layer, the electrode layer i, electrolyte film layer, and electrode layer ii are formed on its periphery one over another.
