PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a post branching property of an optical cable, having a structure wherein optical fibers are stored within a forming pipe obtained by forming laminated tapes, a sheath is provided thereon and a tension member and a lip cord are embedded within the sheath. SOLUTION: The forming pipe 2, capable of being divided into equal halves obtained by forming two laminated tapes, is adopted, and lip cords 6, 6 are arranged in the vicinity of joints of the forming pipe 2. |
