摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optoelectronic device whose power consumption can be reduced by using a driving circuit and a pixel whose circuit constitution is new. SOLUTION: An optoelectronic device displaying a video by using an n (n is a natural number)-bit video signal, has a function (the illustrated figure shows an example in which n and m (m is a natural number) are made respectively to be 3, 2 and which stores the video signal equivalent to 3 bits×2 frames by storage circuits A1 to A3, B1 to B3) of storing a digital video signal equivalent to m frames in a pixel by incorporating n×m pieces of storage circuits per one pixel. As a result, at the time of displaying of a still picture, the drive of a source signal line driving circuit is stopped during this operation by performing the display in respective frames while reading out the video signal stored in the storage circuits repeatedly. Thus, the power consumption of the optoelectronic device can be reduced.
