PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide optical equipment that can be accurately focused on an intended object. SOLUTION: A camera is equipped with a photographing optical system, and a range finder optical system 1 consisting of a range finder optical system 3 interlocked with the photographing optical system and a finder optical system 2, and the movable mirror 8 of the optical system 3 is adjusted so that a range finder image is aligned with a finder image within the field of a finder, whereby the focusing of the photographing optical system is performed. The camera is equipped with a line sensor 4 so as to detect a state where the finder image is aligned with the range finder image by using the sensor 4. The mirror 8 is moved by following the extending and withdrawing operation of the lens of the photographing optical system. By interlocking the extending and withdrawing operation of the lens of the photographing optical system with the sensor 4, the mirror 8 is automatically adjusted. |
