PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation image converting panel having high coneyance durability, and capable of forming a radiation image enhanced in sharpness while keeping high sensitivity. SOLUTION: In this radiation image converting panel having a phosphor sheet having a stimulable phosphorescent layer on a supporting body, and a protection film provided to coat a phosphor surface of the phosphor sheet, the protection film has an excition light absorbing layer colored to absorb excition light, and has 0.2μm or more of surface roughness by Ra (μm).
